I would love to visit Bali, an island of Indonesia which is quite beautiful.
I always have thought I would like to live my last days there. I want to travel a lot, but if I settled on a place it would be Bali.
The religion is a mix between Hinduism and Buddhism which makes people of the island have a very different way to look at life, a more balanced way and with a goal of full. All this makes the island and its atmosphere look like an eternal rest.
Obviously, cost of living is very cheap: with the Chilean minimum wage you can live in Bali having a house with a huge garden. But there are problems too: because Bale is an island, there is not drinking water and some time ago there was a plague of mosquitoes carrying dengue.
Despite all that, Bali is still a heavenly island. Its white sand and turquoise waters beaches make Bali an unforgettable landscape that invites you to stay there. The totally exquisite tropical climate is another factor that binds me to the idea of wanting to go, because I love warm days. I love cold too, but I do not like it for a long time.
I have no more reasons to visit Bali, but these which I have told have me eager and sure that I want to live my last days in Bali.

At photograph that a like
My favorite picture shows a sailor kissing a nurse. It is from 1940.
The picture’s story is the following one: When the Second World War finished, everyone was very happy celebrating on the street. Among these people were the sailors and one of them saw a nurse on her way to work, and then he took her in his arms and kiss her. They didn’t know each other, but it was a moment that reflected all those feelings of people who were living at that time and it was captured by a photographer.
It is a very spontaneous and lovely picture, which has passed through years. I remember having watched it in a documentary when I was little child, and it always caught my attention. It is an image that captures the exuberance of people at that time, which permeated the streets and was felt throughout the city.
The happiness of the end of war and all the things that it meant go beyond what people like me (who did not live the experience) could know, but thanks to photos like this we can at least imagine it.

My favorite animal .

My favorite
animal is the elephant, because it is calm, sweet, noble and brotherly with the
other elephants, despite being the largest land animal on Earth.
They are
animals that always remain with its family; they form a herd, which they never
leave: even on migration time, if one of them gets lost, it would never join
another herd and it will spend days wandering around until it finds its group.
Also, when
a mother has its baby elephant and it has a problem that prevents him from
standing or keeping live, the mother will stay with its baby spending hours
standing on it to protect it from savanna sun and predators; at the same time,
the herd stays close waiting for them. If the young dies, the elephants flock
to his body, make sounds with their trunks as a sign of death and spend hours
watching the body from scavengers, until they set out again. This shows the
attachment, devotion and love between the elephants.
They are
also animals very attached to the spiritual world, like in the Indian religion.
They are sacred animals and face of the god who represents the arts, science
and wisdom, attributes and disciplines which are always present in my life
creating a strong link to this animal and all that it represents.
